Mud, wind, cold, and a deadline that did not care

Some jobs test craftsmanship. Others test stamina. This one did both. The site was saturated; some days it felt like the crew grew several inches just from carrying mud around on their boots. Wind makes siding work harder because panels catch air and cuts need to be exact, and freezing mornings mean cold tools and slow hands.

The part of the project nobody sees in the finished photos is the schedule it took: seven straight days, roughly 6 AM to 9 PM, because the community store's opening did not move for weather.

The result
